day eight
I missed my train this morning, but literally a second. That would have been fine, because another train leaves in under five minutes. Fifteen minutes later I was on my way. Got at work, not quite first in, which I suppose is better than being first in; and sat down and wrote this. Interesting. Got a meeting with my manager in half an hour, so I'll write after then. The main problem I am having here in information management. You lot know I'm not good with names, but so many names are stuffed down your throat here, it's surprising I don't choke. I'm still learning peoples names, and will probably be doing the same on the day I leave. At least that meeting has focused me a tiny bit. I know at least where I should be going. Think of it like this, I have a large jigsaw picture, every face I meet, every meeting I have, another puzzle piece is put in. The big picture is slowly becoming apparent. Had pizza again for lunch, like I do every lunch. I think i'll go for a slurm now. Nah, maybe not, I cannot be arsed getting up. I finally have my slurm, and it's nearly the end of the day. Looking outside I can see a nasty large storm cloud, which I can tell is just waiting for me to walk outside before it deposits it's load of water. My parents are away for the night, at my sister's, so when I eventually get back home, I will be arriving at a cold empty house. At least I will have a curry for dinner I suppose... Half an hour to go before I start to think about leaving. It's rained quite heavily now, and yet I haven't left the building, so therefore that storm was not for me. I can no longer see the nasty raincloud, so I presume I'm safe. Oh well... See you all in about an hour, hopefully less.
