Keanu Reeves and the Matrix

Oh no I hear you cry, not another Matrix rant, and I say to you: err well no it isn't.

Briefly on the Matrix I would like to say that both films are of top quality (the first being slightly superior) and that I enjoyed both, but what is annoying me is the way that people go on about Keanu Reeves and his acting performance in The Matrix. I wonder to myself, have they never seen some of his finer work. Of course when I refer to his 'finer work' I am refering to:

Bill and Teds Excellent adventure.

In this film Mr Reeves is outstanding, in fact I would go as far as to say that he is totally awesome dude!!

In The Matrix he attempts to be suave and sophisticated, but it doesn't suit him. What does suit his is going around time travelling wearing baggy jeans and a T-shirt and shouting 'totally bogus dude' all the time.

Nothing compares to that film, especially the way Mr Reeves can play air guitar in it, a skill which he seems to be either lacking or hiding in The Matrix.

All that is left for me to say is this:

'Totally awesome dude'
