Argh, recpoircal functions

WHY?!?!
Could they not decide that since they were going to make 1/cosine(x)
be a whole new function would they not call it cosec. Thereby pairing up the co's. Making it much easier to remember.

Oh yeah, here's another axe to grind before i finish doing my maths hwk:
Why do calculator's have "sin^-1" for arcsine. Do they not understand that ^-1 is 1/number. Hence that would give the cosec function.

I hereby end my proclaimation.
